

{"id":688,"date":"2019-06-13T09:43:53","date_gmt":"2019-06-13T07:43:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/neurosys.loria.fr\/?p=180"},"modified":"2019-06-13T09:43:53","modified_gmt":"2019-06-13T07:43:53","slug":"hiroaki-wagatsumas-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/neurorhythms.loria.fr\/fr\/hiroaki-wagatsumas-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Hiroaki Wagatsuma&#039;s Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brain.kyutech.ac.jp\/~waga\/?q=node\/131\">Hiroaki Wagatsuma<\/a> from Kyutech University is visiting us from June 12th to July 28th.<br \/>\nHe will give a talk on Wednesday, June 19th at 11 am at LORIA (C005).<\/p>\n<div class=\"\"><b class=\"\">Title<\/b>: \u00ab\u00a0Brain-inspired robotics: Neural Dynamics for the Body Coordination and\u00a0Interactions with the Environment\u00a0\u00bb<\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"\"><b class=\"\">Abstract<\/b>: The first issue that we tackled was the elucidation of the mechanism how<\/div>\n<p>different time scales of a behavior and synapses are associated according to<br class=\"\" \/>the rhythm and he currently extended it to the question of how a rhythm (a<br class=\"\" \/>specific type of the limit cycle in the system) transits to the other,<br class=\"\" \/>dynamically and sophisticatedly, i.e. a structural design of the trajectory or<br class=\"\" \/>self-organization of multiple rhythms for a complex function. For example, a<br class=\"\" \/>synchronous motion spontaneously appears in communication between persons faced<br class=\"\" \/>each other and their motions differentiate as time advances because they need<br class=\"\" \/>to express the own expressions each other. A typical example is an interactive<br class=\"\" \/>game with motions. For judging or proceeding from a stage to the next stage,<br class=\"\" \/>the counterpart with a different motion have to synchronize at some moment,<br class=\"\" \/>which is a result to compete and determine which is winner, or looser. A<br class=\"\" \/>possible hypothesis is that such a quasi-equilibrium state is emerged from the<br class=\"\" \/>coupling between the behavioral coordination and neuronal dynamics including<br class=\"\" \/>the coordination and a conflict in the internal decision-making process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hiroaki Wagatsuma from Kyutech University is visiting us from June 12th to July 28th.
